New JK5100 With food conveyor to Stömma Naturbruksgymnasium
Shortly before Christmas Strömma Naturbruksgymnasium in Sätila installde an JK500 with food conveyor. The school offers courses in animal and agriculture, including grooms, machine, and veterinary care. The school is located in a beautiful country estate, yet is a modern training facility. The school has a high environmental profile with organic production, wind energy and fossil energy.

Visit to one of our Distributors in Norway
Musketererne is a treatment centre for youth with a need of special help. To work with these composters is only one way to let the youth’s learn new things, and to succeed with a project. They will collect food waste from a bakery and a steak house, which off course also will pay some money for this work to be done

I can see that joraform products has an big future in Slovenia thanks to Ventovarnas hard work.
I had also the pleasure to be at the opening day of the earth day where Ventorvarna showed our compost.
We are also looking forward to see how there kindergarden program will work out.

Visit from Australia
Vitality4life came and visited for 6 days in the beginning of Sep. This was their first time in Sweden and we hope they enjoyed their time here. We want to thank them for taking their time to come here and visit us.
They also enjoyed one day in the Swedish forest on some moose hunting

A new product from Joraform - Food Conveyor 60L
To simplify feeding the JK5100 with organic composting material, Joraform is happy to announce the newest member to our product family. The Food Conveyor 60 L facilitates the handling for operations with large amounts of food waste such as schools, restaurants, hotels and industries.
Safety and HandlingThe food conveyor lid is opened and the waste food is put in the container. When the lid is closed the conveyor screw will automatically start transporting the waste into the JK5100. If the lid is opened while the screw is running, it will immediately stop. In the bottom of the food conveyor there is a connection for the outflow of leachate that may appear from the food waste. The leachate can then be led out via the local sewer system.
Maintenance and cleaning
Regularly cleaning the food conveyor is needed for it to function as intended. The cleaning intervall depends on the properties and consistency of the waste food, but we recommend that the conveyor should be cleaned every day and a more thorugh clean once a week. The container may be rinsed with water, but avoid flushing water directly on the engine.

installation for Joracompost Canada!
Joracompost in Canada has installed five compost tumblers at The Batshaw youth and family centre. It is a group home for troubled youths who have committed some crime. The customer feels that involving these troubled kids in Batshaws environmental program will help them when they return to society.

In Montreal, CANADA there are cooperative projects in specific areas called an Eco-Quartier. Our contact for these projects is a gentleman with name Michael Hawrysh. His organization is ECO-QUARTIER SAINT-JACQUES, and he say that there will be more Eco-Quartier like this one during next year. Together with our Canadian distributor www.joracanada.ca they choose different models of JORA composters, and the project is a success.

When Swedish embassy´s together with National Property Board of Sweden introduced it´s plan for Green Embassy´s, they choose composters from Joraform AB. This week we installed JK5100 machine No 1 in Cyprus. The customer is a hotel, and with this machine they will decrease the cost for waste, but also improve the environmental policy. The local distributor Loizos Afxentiou on BLaRS say´s that media and other customers on the island already shows great interest for the machine and waste solution.

This week we had 14 visitors from Italy in the factory. They represent different municipality´s, environmental and agriculture offices and zero waste networks. We visit different customers and offcourse also discuss problem and solutions with food waste in Italy and in general.

This week we had our first visitors in our factory from South America - Brazil. It was Mr. Luiz Carlos Martins Podzwato with 4 colleagues that visit us for two days. During these days we visit customers and also discussed environmental matters in Brazil. There is still a lot work to do, but Brazil staking a lot to solve the waste problems in the country. The problem with foodwaste is the same in almost all countries world wide, and local composting on site close to where you live or work is a very good solution they say. Fewer transportations = less pollution = reduced cost.

Our Turkish distributor ERS www.erscevre.com.tr participated on the 6th International Recycling, Environmental Technologies and Waste Management Trade Fair called REW - 2010 which took place in Istanbul. The fair was a great success and we are especially happy about that the Turkish Environment and Forestry Minister Mr. Veysel EROGLU visit our booth and had several questions regarding JK5100 composting machine. Turkey staking 70 billion Euros in the field of Environmental concerns.

Fair 1: Between 4-6th June our distributor in Romania www.composting.meson.ro participated on a exhibition called BIONATURA FEST. It took part in Sala Palatului, Bucharest and was a great success with a lot of people´s visit the stand.
Fair 2: At the end of June they also will participate at an exhibition called "BIOFAIR" organized by BIOMA company. They look forward to meet many interested people´s , maybe you?

Swedish Embassy´s choose Joraform AB.
When Swedish embassy´s introduced it´s plan for Green Embassy´s, they choose composters from Joraform AB. This is a picture from the Embassy in Hanoi, where they compost foodwaste from the embassy in six (6) JK270. They also planning for new projects within a short future.

Our distributor in Canada www.joracanada.ca recently take part at a popular compost show and conference at one of the big universities in Canada. They won first prize for the best booth, and below is a photo of Jacques receiving the prize which was a sack of organically grown vegetables.
